Anton Schneider und Söhne® - Cuckoo clocks from Schonach

The company Anton Schneider Cuckoo Clocks was founded in 1894 by Anton Schneider and is now in the sixth generation of family ownership. Since 1952, Anton Schneider Söhne GmbH & Co. KG has been located at the current company site in the Black Forest town of Schonach and, after several expansions of the production facility, currently employs approximately 25 people. In the large and modern workshops, from carpentry and wood carving to watch assembly and final inspection, all stations of watch production are located under one roof. Managing Director Jürgen Clute knows that the skilful combination of tradition and innovation and the deep-rooted connection to the Black Forest are the cornerstones of the company's success. Special emphasis is also placed on the careful training of the woodcarvers in order to keep this old craft alive at the highest level and even improve it if possible.

Cuckoo clocks from the clock factory Anton Schneider Söhne are worlds of their own: they tell stories of the rural life of the Black Forest in a very small space, but with many true-to-life details. Typical, regional everyday situations from a bygone era have taken hold of the company and serve as inspiration for beautifully designed Black Forest clocks with a traditional character that awaken a longing for a rural idyll in the viewer. In addition, unusual motifs such as the cuckoo clock as a town house as well as modern designed clocks are also realized. Thus, it is easy to find the Black Forest clock that suits one's individual taste and to be enchanted by Anton Schneider's masterpieces.

At Anton Schneider Söhne, however, the focus is not only on the external design of the cuckoo clocks; a lot of attention is also paid to the inner workings. The company is constantly striving to further develop the Black Forest clock and bring new innovations to the market. The automatic night shut-off for mechanical 1-day movements, for example, is one of these new developments from the house of Anton Schneider cuckoo clocks.

The Schneider cuckoo clock factory not only feels connected to the Black Forest, but also committed to it: The raw material wood naturally comes from sustainably managed local forests. Almost exclusively local suppliers ensure a strengthening of the regional industry. In addition, low staff turnover demonstrates the great loyalty of local employees, who carry out their work with great commitment: A strong basis for high quality "Made in Black Forest". Anton Schneider cuckoo clocks are now known worldwide. The international interest in such a beautiful piece of the Black Forest for the home is also reflected in the request for exciting special designs, such as a special clock in honor of the Princess of Thailand.
